Welcome to the first cav division musuem
Welcome to the First Cavalry Division's Museum located in Fort Hood, Texas. We are supported by the largest Army base within the country, and are surrounded by constantly growing communities, such a Killeen, Harker Heights, and Copperas Cove, Texas. We are only an hour from Austin and Waco, and three hours from Dallas.
Museum Renovation
The museum is in its final stages of completion, from the renovation that began back in September of 2006. The renovation has included the updating of all signs, a new lobby area, new era relevant music, and numerous new exhibits. We hope you enjoy your visit with us to view this great museum.
